Went out with my buddy to a secluded spot of his, it’s 1 mile in and out, but it’s through the thickest brush/sapling/ weed patches I’ve ever had the pleasure of dragging my equipment through. It was hard to find enough room to swing because of the weeds, I was so soaked with sweat both my leather belts were drenched, and then I stepped in a ******* bees nest and got to do a 100 yard dash through that crapola. I’m really tired now and need a nap.
However, I did find some silver, but it wasn’t worth it............almost

I have two new permissions - one is producing Confederate stuff - they are waiting till fall...

I hate bees. I'd take a snake over a bee any day. Gary

At least you found some silver. Good thing the Bee's didn't high jack it on you.

Look on the bright side, at least you didn't meet up with "slim".....Slim is what we call Mr Rattlesnake....slim Jr is a copperhead'

Yeah, I've been there and done that as well and know the feeling. I'm going to try to avoid the woods till the fall and concentrate on research.

I bet Tommy (A2) would step on that bees nest every day to be pulling silver like that [emoji14]

Nice going JD!

Its usually worth it, when we get home. Kick our feet up, get something cold to drink and eye the days finds. Whether it be one wheatie or a token...its worth it to just be able to metal detect and in good health :)

It's so hot and humid in Missouri the insects are sweating
