Went out with my buddy to a secluded spot of his, it’s 1 mile in and out, but it’s through the thickest brush/sapling/ weed patches I’ve ever had the pleasure of dragging my equipment through. It was hard to find enough room to swing because of the weeds, I was so soaked with sweat both my leather belts were drenched, and then I stepped in a ******* bees nest and got to do a 100 yard dash through that crapola. I’m really tired now and need a nap.
However, I did find some silver, but it wasn’t worth it............almost

Joe, we've all had a few of those trips. It may have been a miserable trip,
BUT, you made some memories that will last...:occasion14:

When it's miserably hot, freezing cold, or just a miserable day, I always turn to the wife and quote Clarke Griswold from Christmas Vacation......................"It's all part of the experience".

At least you scored some silver! It's amazing how fast you can run through the brush when being chased by angry bees.... Sounds like a good spot to re-visit in the Fall....

Well three Silver's is pretty good.
I've been on a some real nasty hunts like that myself - got totally skunked on a few of them - guess it comes with the job.

Good Hunting !

I feel like "Summer Bees" is gonne be the summer title.

***ARC starts singing... "Summer bees ... makes you feel fine... blowing like the jasmine in my miiiinnnnd***

Bad "B" movie title... "The Summer Of Bees".

WHICH... could easily be "upgraded" from a "B" movie simply by title change to...

"The Bees Of Summer".

Fluff it up a bit.

:P

I read your Post & Wanted to Say, Heck Yes it was Worth it !

But is hard to do, if the mile in & Out wouldn't have prevented me, The thick Brush would have.

The bees ? Tolerable , The Coins Awesome , I Can only imagine how much you's missed

Gotta love metal detecting! At least you found something! Tylenol works good, got stung mowing the yard! Those little
pests, they really hurt my feelings. LOL

Without brush, I *might* make the mile in, and possibly still be able to
swing the detector for a few minutes.

Going out? Not happening, so I do hope somebody nearby has a
sturdy deer cart...:laughing7:
