Not your typical treasure

Only found rusty wire with detector this morning. However, my “treasure” of the day came when I spotted the stinging nettles are up. I picked a batch and made pesto. It will dress a batch of roasted red potatoes for supper. I guess treasure comes in many forms. 👍🏼

I've heard that young nettles are good to eat. I recall harvesting some for some personal medicinal purpose but can't remember what. When the plants mature, they sure do sting! But the sting does not last long.
