Well its been a long while since I have posted due to the farm fields and woods unhuntable up until the last few weeks. But Im back in the swing of things and have had a very good last few outings. The best outing was today with mom and NJ Ben. Hit up our field of dreams that still has Soy in it so we were stuck (luckily) with some fields we really hadn't given a chance. Ben did very well today and Ill let him share his story! Concentrated on an area where Ben had found his goodies and pulled 1 large cent, a toasted copper and this BEAUTIFUL 1786 NJ Copper. Thought I would never find one in good shape! Pulled buttons, indians, spoons, forks, you name it this spot was on fire. The last bunch of pics were from a few previous outtings. Barber quarter, seated dime, George II copper, Nice Saddle Shield etc. Here are the pics. Hope Don can tell me the great news on my ULTRA rare NJ:tongue3: Thanks all.

What a haul! That NJ is in great shape for sure. Well done. I'm guessing there was a homestead in that area? All that from the farmers through the years?

Glad October is finally here. Great finds Jim. That NJ is kicking along with the sweet dandy cant wait. Arty

I love the patina on the Jersey Copper. Looks like you had a great day of digging!

Congrats. Nice detail on that jersey copper. Wish mine came out like that

Awsome finds to say the least. You have definitely found a sweet honey hole. May there be many more finds to come.

Even being a common NJ copper, that thing is a beauty and grats on the William as well!
