Now the Big Easy is cleaning up the drains and they found...

I've worked on reservations as well and they are as trashed too. Multiple cars in the yards and nothing gets taken care of except any liquor.

Comes down to personal responsibility, same as everything else in life.

Truer words were never spoken. 👍

rinse the beads off and sell em to the idiots next year

We took camp trailer trips across Canada when I was young. I remember my mother commenting how clean everywhere we'd stop was. I guess you Canadians are known for your concerns about cleanliness. A lot of folks down here, but not all could give a hoot about what they do with their trash. I think they believe there's always someone else to pick up after them.

of course canada has like 5000 people

40 years later somethings have changed, many things have not. Plastics are the greatest pollution item now, in a few years every fish consumed will have plastics in the meat.

That might explain the McDonald’s Filet-O-Fish

I'm sure with all the needles and used condoms they could make welcome packages for future mardi gras visitors. All that would be missing is the French's stinky bo and armpits haha. And the hairy women!

I’ve been to Paris France and boy do they stink. Italy as well the guy we hired for private daily tours dressed sharp as a tack until I realized he wore the same clothes everyday. True story

I worked at a car shop in Gunnison for a few years and the same Frenchie Jeep group would stop in for fuel every summer and they'd always want me to check their tire pressures for them. Besides being rude as can be you couldn't stand within ten feet of them without getting sick. They smelled like a mixture of week old socks and two week old stinky armpits. There's something about bath time that those people don't like and I think it's the soap and water hehe.

And that was the women!!

I also believe it is a cultural thing as well as a race thing, when I was kid I had a paper route on the east side of town and then it was all people of German descent, the yards were all mowed, no trash anywhere, now it is all Hispanic and it is a fricken ghetto, trash everywhere, drive by shootings, stray pitbulls running around, a real ****hole. No one can convince me any different, seen it up and down the Central Valley here where I live.

It's been said that washing people is the same as washing vegetables....They tend to loose their flavor.:)

I love New Orleans but wouldn’t visit during Mardi Gras for anything.

Me too it’s sad. But would NEVER move back not even to the South shore period. I just keep moving further and further out.

Don't feel too bad, many of Nawlin's finest came here to me during Katrina and never went back.

Why you think We ❤️ Texas! jj

Are they not probably one of the worst if not the worst. I remember being in a Rite Aid in Houston during the storm and saw some Democrats and I told my wife that’s ours not a doubt in my mind. Watched them drag their slippers all the way to a car with a Louisiana plate. Smh They are missing something besides education some kind of gene.

My dad’s side of the family lives in Rockwall Tx outside Dallas. Houston really really to care of my family. The dog kennel took care of our two dogs and wouldn’t except a cent. I love Texas for a lot more reasons than that.

Yep, not a problem at all in a time of true need. Thats what good neighbors do. All the good folks went back to help rebuild once it was all over, and unfortunately the best of the worst stayed and are now on the TX taxpayer teet instead of Louisianas. I guess we pay better. :dontknow:

I just read this article in yesterday's USA TODAY.
