Wreck with some pre 1900s plates off the Carolinas, Was going over lo rez multibeam when this show where I suspected it to be. Pixels are 2m. Fellow old commercial spearfisherman confirmed once I gave him the approx coordinates.

You're saying the picture of the pixels is the plates off the pre 1900 Carolinas.

Pixels represent a degraded wreck. Which has had plates recovered from it. By personal friends, fellow captains. All with 30 plus years of looking for wrecks, rocks and ledges to dive. Several of which have written books, are in or consult with TV shows and movies. I'm 51% certain it's a wreck I was looking for. Maybe more as the numbers were confirmed by one of the guys who dives it once I showed him the coordinates.
I'm out of commerial spearfishing, diving in general and prolonged trips at sea due to health complications from Covid, PTSD, adrenal imbalances and the results of 8000+ dives, mostly beyond recreational limits on my CNS and bones.
So I like to keep in touch by doing the research still and sharing.

Do the plates have any maker's marks or backstamps indicating the shipping line/company? That will be the first course of due diligence in this case.

Yep, they narrowed it down a bit but lost interest because we all primarily spearfished. Treasure hunting generally consists of finding a spot no one has dove so the fish are less wary. And finding megs.
