Something tells me a city inspector should have been called in to make sure the nothing is running under the house that would make the house structurally unsound.

Yep it's obvious the porch was Added later.
may be brand new,

it makes the Cesspool look too close.
My guess the house in now on sewerage & the Cesspool
could have been emptied years ago.
or what was there rotted away.

Normally the Cesspool was far enough away to not effect the Foundation.

Looks like a post septic tank drainfield.
I didn't listen to the video to gewt an idea if a tank existed somewhere or if one side of the visible area was a cesspool. The right side showed the drainage of a drainfield. Plus partition wall midspan.
Beyond those holes should have been stratified stone by size from large to small to sand eventually.. Just watched the filling with a teaspoon approach without the sound on. It worked!
