When I read the historical finds you post Jeff, I think how much I would have loved a resource like the internet back when I started detecting. I wouldn't dare guess at how many hours I spent in library history rooms reading and taking notes, reading old newspapers, etc. No cell phone cameras to take a snapshot of the material you wanted to record, just a pencil and paper.

Yep Same Here. & When I Didn't have a Vehicle I Hitched 20 Mile to the County Library in Pottsville for a Few Hours Researching

I Used to Have 3 - 4 Books open at once, cross Checking .
Now I Have 3 - 4 Websites open at Once

& Own a Lot of the Books the Library had
