Went out to the woods for a few hours the last 2 days and found a bunch of relics and old coins. I started off finding my 1st multi IH spill (2 in 1 hole), then a V and so on. Well eventually I got a bouncy signal that went from coin to iron and back to coin. I get tons of these signals and I always dig them. Well at about 4-5" I dug a cool stack of coins. I could tell that the biggest coin was a Barber quarter and it had a nickle in the middle and a dime on the top. Well It turned out to be a 1898 q - 1899 V - 1885 seated dime all in an old coin stack!!! Finally after 3 years of hunting I finally got my seated coin!!!! I also found 2 pins in the same area, 1 is an eagle and the other is of Uncle Sam, enjoy. I'm still pumped about gettin that monkey off my back!!!

In the video I make a fool outta myself when I realize its my very 1st seated, be sure to watch! :laughing9:

Nice bunch of stuff from the woods.
Congrats on your first, but I prefer the barber. Pins are nice too.

I just dug my first seated (half dime) on Wednesday night. Congrats...looks like we both joined the club. :occasion14:

You had a couple incredible days. I love those two patriotic pins too. They are awesome.

I wonder if the eagle pin is military or fraternal mil order , might be worth some research on it. ps the pic under your name is a boy scout neckerchief clasp from circa 1927 used in eastern us. I've found one very much like it a few yrs ago. Great coins too. U done good.
