I got this at a garage sale the other day . It's 9" long . The only marking is a Star .

I agree strongly with PBK. I have a similar saw with the curved edge for starting a cut in the middle of a panel. But mine is tool steel. Yours appears to be all stainless. The most likely reason for all stainless is, it is a doctor's tool.
