Another day closer. Didn't make chat. Had the grandkids over for crafts night. My A$$ was teaching the girls how to sew. I got to work the glue gun on the other stuff. WOOOOO HOOOOO

Has reality started to set in yet for everybody? The time is FAST approaching......now we can start thinking seriously about what we're packing and what we're going to forget to bring!!! Is this going to be the first time visit in Louisiana for anybody thats coming? We need to know so we can plan the Louisiana Initiation Ceramony!!!

Is anybody going to bring a detector with them......I know with all the eatin', visitin, lying, camping, bonfires, cheesecake, and prizes galore, it won't leave a whole lot of time to detect.......but whose complaining!!! Why don't we list what kind of detector we plan to use to find all the prizes? I'll start: Minelab Explorer and DFX.

Let's kick up the heat ! It got fired up last night with the chat, whats next?

I for one plan on detecting. I don't get to detect very often so detecting is my #1 priority!!!

Food can wait, socializing can wait, heck even cheescake can wait! I want to detect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My detector of choice is the Cheesecake 5000. Excellent detector and needs no batteries, but you gotta give it a rest, a bud and some rolaids every now and them.

But seriously, I'm with M.E. I was thinking about bringing the generator and a set of tower lights for a night hunt or twelve.

You could always get headlamps or visor lights for your ball caps! Oh and carry some cheesecake along in case you need extra energy!

i'm bring 4 detectors with me, may take the coil off one and attach either a fork or spoon, large size i will add. i am a growing boy, need to keep this unique figure of mine in shape--lol
i have also resolved to just take an F on this test and spend that time doing something i like to do, EAT
