<------ Is the proud owner of a brand new White's DFX. Happy Birthday to me! Heading to Galveston Island tommorrow for a couple days to break her in. Looking forward to the hunt more than ever!

Congrats on the new detector! How exciting! Make sure you take lots of pics when you are out breaking her in!

I will be using my MXT. I was going to bring the IDX Pro for back up but with so many detectors to use there, I will leave it at home.

Hope y'all are safe & sound. I was just looking at the weather report and the OK area is does not look very good, in fact down right scary and bad. Tornadoes are up & down the area, plus the one in OK City. Do be careful. Thoughts & prayers for everyone in the area.

Thanks RR and Cyn. Fortunately most of it so far is just rain. We're in a tornado watch but the heaviest is moved to the east and NE. Some is to the southwest and may build and move this way. At least it will make for easy digging.

Thanks guys, last night> early am this morn. just heavy thunderstorms, rain off and on so far today with one haevy thunderstorm mid morn. now it will probably do that off and on, we are in a tornado watch til 4 pm!

My problem is I'm so bad at this detecting stuff it takes me twice as long to find half the stuff everyone else does and I am only that lucky about one-fourth of the time and about one eigth of what I find is good so if you start doing the math it gets really confusing.

Since I suck at Algebra I cannot even begin to tell you how long it would take me to equal even one good detectorist.

shhhhhh put out the cheesecake and while they are distracted sneak off with their batteries and get a head start! By the time they search their pockets for their spare batteries I told them to bring you will have found the best spot to hunt and hopefully dig at least a few items before they....RUN!!!! Here they come!!! Atleast that is how I would have to do it to find anything!

I havnt been keeping up really good with the goings on here.......think I'm in trouble with RR because it looks like some kind of test she will be giving
At any rate I'm ready to eat some cheesecake, and we are bringing a Bounty Hunter Pioneer 505 and of coarse my Tesoro Deleon. Getting close, woo hoo. I see that brother of mine has a new high dollar machine. Congrats Troy and Happy Birthday.
Question: Will we all actually hunt for metal stuff in the ground? Or no time for that, only prize give aways and eating? Just curious..........
