Oh this is so cool!

I killed an hour while my wife was at the salon, figured I’d hit up a tot lot, just for the exercise more than anything…new park in an old part of town, and oh the trash! It’s like they put a fine layer of dirt on top of a landfill. I found a few cents, was about to wrap it up, then I got a banger…

Very heavy, but not lead… probably just a pot metal type. I reckon it’s the top of a trophy, or broken off a stand or something.
My best guess is it’s an Indian V-twin? 1930s-40s? Maybe 50s?
I don’t know bikes too much, let alone vintage stuff.
But I sure am happy with this guy, made my day!

I think you're correct on it being part of a trophy. I spent some time image searching cast toy motorcycles and most all of them have wheels that actually turn. Image search for motorcycle trophies brings up many more that are very similar to yours.

When I was a kid I visited my grandparents in Miami. My grandpas friend worked in a trophy factory. He gave me a box of reject trophy tops. I had everything. Baseball players, bowlers, dragsters, golfers, horses, dogs, victory angels and many others. I’m sure many ended up in my yard after I brought them home. I don’t remember a motorcycle though. You made a cool find!

BTW, whenever I’ve seen such things such as your guy on the motorcycle, my memory transports me to a relative’s machine shop and usually those mementos sit on the shop owner’s desktop and yet to another car parts shop where I remember an ashtray that was made to look like a tire.
