We spent 2 hours 15 minutes, loose gridding from the opposite side of the 200+ acre field until a huge thunder storm came over! Hailstones, rain, lightning, & white out conditions for driving. This time it was Dads turn to get the hammered, just before the first hour.
We return after waiting about 2 hours, & switched our T-shirts for wet weather gear & did 2 hours on the Barley Stubble where we had 4 roman coins & a few bits.
4 Roman Coins
1915 Sixpence
17th C Token
Lizzy 3pence (hammered)
17th C Buckle
1723 Halfpenny
Victorian Cap Badge
17/18th C Horse Harness Mount (with leather)
My star find a bent 14th C Medieval Book Clasp with Beast Head. A good high status piece from a Church/Monastery (most likely). Its a type I don't have.
