I really would like to know how many fellow penny searchers out there have bought these SUPER rolls on ebay or other sites. You know the ones that have the good coins on the end and who knows in the middle. I bought one seems as if I gave around $30 for it had a VDB showing on both ends. The seller of course stated that many 09S had been found and this was one of the last rolls. Well I did get to 09 VDB both in decent shape F-XF. I am just curious though has anyone else bought them and what was your experince

I have found that if you want a complete set you bout have to buy the keys and semi keys out right. Guess this is why I bid $1000 on a 09 s vdb tonight.

Ive never spent that on a coin but I have spent 500 on a football card.

Fantastic choice!

Still have your cards?!? I'm aging a tad (30 this September) and still have thousands of cards from when I started that hobby! Not to mention the ones my dad kept from when he was my age!!! Mantle, Ruth, DiMaggio, etc! Lots of history in those small pieces of cardboard!!

Oh yea I still have them. I have my own website. I love cards but unfortunately they are not as profitable as CRH. Well at least without a big investment and a HUGE amount of risk. I love CrH because it's very low risk and pure profit. Busting a box of coin is like busting a box of cards only you can return all the cards/coins you don't want ! I love it!

PM me your site if you don't mind! I used to beg my parents to take me to the local card shop once upon a time!!! I have ways loved cards but they have you room these days for profit (IMHO).

CRH Was a hobby started thanks to my grandfather! He knew a thing or two about coins!!! I sure do miss him!!!

I would NEVER pay that much for a single coin unless I KNEW I could make a quick turn around on it. I would go through $1,000,000 of cents before I went and bought a 1909s vdb.

I would give $1000 all day long for a pcgs MS 63 RB 1909 S VDB

Exactly! That would the case where I could sell the coin for a quick turn around.
