Did the 12 hour shifts for many years. But just 3 days constituted a week. Once a month I took off last 4 of one week and first 4 of the next. Had a 8 day vacation every month. That's why I'm still mostly sane and fairly healthy.

Did 85-100 hr weeks for 13 yrs. Took 1 day a month off to run around doing financial and other stuff. Wore myself out basically doing the physical labor as well as owning a scrap yard.
Though I did retire at 48

Well....chronologically speaking I am 73, mentally I feel as though I should be in my 30's or 40's, Physically, in most mornings I feel like I could be in my 80's, and of course my wife often thinks I'm like 12 years old.

63 good healthy years followed by 13 years of declining health. I do not leave home without my little bottle of nitroglycerine pills. Had to use one yesterday. Hopefully the doctors will figure out what is wrong while I am still here.
