old ballpark finds

went by a ballpark yesterday that looked like it had been out of use for a while.
I had some extra time so i thought i would hunt for a few min. i found only a Little clad at first but then on my way out i hit a strong signal about 6 in down,i dug and out came my first dollar coin(1924) i don't know if its worth much yet, but it sure did get me excited.

Judging by ebay sales, it is worth 10-20 dollars or so...

Amazing find.

When I was a kid my grandma gave me a pair of them.
When I was in my 20s, and living in a party house full of rock musicians, they were stolen. *sigh*

Congrats--Some of my best finds have come from old ballfields. Particularly Left Center. Nice coin.

nice silver dollar. in my years of hunting i have never found one. thats the one thing i wanted to find and a gold coin.
