went to a old house built in 1910......but most of the ground had been dug & hauled off.
But did manage a few finds, this belt buckle any guess on age ? This ST.MARYS pendant
on the back it has 12 stars, a cross over a M & two hearts a sword through one & a chain
around the other any ideas? Also found this peice that i think was part of a medal.

thanks for viewing
Randall

Look's homemade there Randall, almost look's like it was made for a scarf or something rather than a buckle in my honest opinion. But what do I know.....The Religious pendant's are alway's cool to find.I'd hit the place again for sure, never know what mught come out of there.Nice going!!

cool buckle! Don't know how old it is though.

I love the buckle have no idea what it was used for. I would think perhaps as mentioned for a sash or something like that.

I don't think it's a belt buckle...but it's unique...very nice!

Actually it isn't unique--because there is another half of it...and it IS a belt buckle, I'm pretty certain. One half of a two-piece ladies' sash buckle, to be exact.

That buckle would be great in any collection. Nice finds.
