Old bullet id

Found this little lead bullet the other day. Scouting a new permision. Tossing it in my pouch thinking modern.
But then I seen the hollow base.
Any thoughts. It is an old piece of property with lots of rumors of CW activity. I am head back when the rain stops.

That's not a firearm bullet, it's a pellet from an air rifle. Like this:

They come in a lot of sizes. They make air guns all the way to .50 caliber. The pellets look like muzzle loader bullets.

Wow 50 cal! I thought the 22 slug gun I had as a kid was something good. That'd take some serious air pressure to push that size slug out.
