Old Church Building

Took these a couple of days ago.

Part of the Fort Rock museum located in Fort Rock, Oregon.

The building was moved here a few years ago from it's original location not far away.

I always did love that building! I used to haul hay out of there sometimes and stop at the scalehouse and stare at the scenery and contemplate. Brings back great memories! Thanks!

I don't drive by this place very often. Fortunately the light happened to be sort of right for a couple of pictures that day.

This building has always reminded me of the movie "High Plains Drifter".

I don't know if has been hunted or not, but would guess it probably has.

I live a good distance from there, and have never had time to research and see if it's possible to search it.

That Church looks a lot like the churches when I was a kid, they were old then, and lasted another 75 years. You could hear singing in them for a mile because no automobiles or noise, the nearest house would be at least a half mile away. They would have an all day singing with a dinner that would put ten pounds on the average glutton. Oh well those were the days, no TV preacher, and well mannered kids or they got a hiding or promise of one when they got home. Gnewt
