It's a 242c , nickel plated base , someone made the handle from a coat hanger . the bottom is dated 6 49 - June 1949 . I will post pics tomorrow after I give it a cleanin .

Nice find....like the old lanterns,recently bought a Thermos inverted lantern for $5 at yard sale..sold for $247 on Ebay,,,prob shoulda kept as unlikely to find another

So nice to still have the glass globe. I always find them crushed and bent up......Nice Score!!!

Only you would have the replacement handle for an almost 70 year old lantern in your parts bin. LOL :icon_thumright: Nice lantern.

Yeah , It came off a 1950 242c .
