Old copper ring and old bullet

Need help to age these items and any info on the ring would be great thanks.

The ring was 6" deep and I almost chucked it because it looked like a copper pipe trimming.. It's too small to fit on my pinky, and there are symbols on the top and I have no clue what they are. No writing on the inside Any ideas??

And the bullet measures 1/2" long and .300" diameter. It has a concave back and 1 ring near the back. Any ideas if it's old and what caliber that would be?
