✅ SOLVED old fishing weight?

I found this lodged deep in some rocks along a beach near San Francisco. Same size and thickness as a quarter. Seems to be made of lead...slightly bendable. Any ideas?

I'll be happy when all of these are found there coat weights, hem weights, even curtain weights just not fishing weights! HH
