Old furnace bricks

I found these as a boy in the creek where I live there used to be an old ore furnace a couple miles away thought I would share

I find old red bricks in the creek I hunt. Most are just plain or broken in half. Somebody told me during the Civil War Sherman came through and either burnt the homes down or shot them with cannons till they were gone. He said that is where all the red bricks came from.

Yeah I take my MD every once in a while when I go out hunting but as soon as I see a piece of flint I put it down and wish I didnt bring it.
