I was talking to someone I know, and she told me about an old girlscout camp near my house she went to in 1935, would that be good. I assume so.

I search a girl scout camp near me. they have park ranger that patrols the place. he gave me permission
and his cell phone number. I give him a call and as long as the scouts aren't there, I can hunt all I want
I've found a couple of rings, some earings and loads of clad

I like to look for any place older than 1950, so I would jump on that if you can.

My wife and I ran a 200 acre girl scout camp in the Colorado Rocky's.
I detected the camp often finding tons of Girlie stuff! lol

I did however find some very cool mid 1900's girls scout memorabilia which was put in the main lodge for folks to check out. Other than that, nothing of real value. Coins , costume jewelry etc...

Boy scout/girl scout camps and yes....4-h camps are fun if you like to practice digging!

I have tected an old boyscout camp with some friends. Many silver and 1 gold class ring. Lots of scout items too. Go for it.

It is long gone, now, it is right next door to a boys, prison.

Give it a shot! Probably some older coins to be found any way

Yes.... by all means. That would be a great place. I spent many hours at an old boy scout camp and found a lot of silver. Good luck.
