Old gold ring with engraving of solid gold

I found a ring today metal detecting a church built in the late 1800's.Can someone tell me something about it or what it is worth? Thanks. I have the fever!

I'd say its worth its weight in gold.

The weight and the Carat of the gold would determine its value and no one can tell that from just a picture =)

I have an old medal marked "Solid Gold". This doesnt mean pure gold. Have it tested... My medal came up at 10k so who knows..
