I'm sure I can get permission but it's 4 hrs from my house and the grounds frozen right now. Will have to swing by that way during the summer.

Very photogenic too. There should be more pictures taken that take advantage of the angles and trees in the back. Black and white maybe.
I'd have my wife dress period and stand on the porch looking out as if expecting someone who is never coming. Wind blowing her dress...perhaps a soldier who never returned from the Somme.
Beautiful abandoned place. Real nice.
