Found an old homestead site today. Found it on a map and have been trying to Locate
For a while. Nice button and looks to be the handle of a knife. Tons of square nails and such. Excited to get back out to it. Any insight on age or anything it’s appreciated.

I'd guess button early 1800s. Metal in knife handle might be silver.
