Greetings, I hunted a 1898 house Sunday that was absolutely filled with trash every 3 inches. I took the plunge and went to All Metal Mode and swung extra slow (5 seconds per swing) What an adjustment it was... but it was the only way to get through all the trash without nulling everything... Who knows how much I still missed..as I nearly went insane with BEEP BEEP Syndrome, but here is what I was able to find. A 1919-d and 1929-d cents, 1943-d Merc dime, finally found a whole 1/5th cent Colorado Tax Token, and old pocket knife...a few hair berets that are copper, a few keys and a whole LOT of fun! Abe Lincoln got a shave on the 1929 cent... Need to work on my pinpointing...still.

Thanks for lookin.

nice finds and I am sure its worth cleaning out the trash and being able to detect a little deeper where the big silver is at.

Great finds there sodapoptop. Very unusual 'tax token', never seen a square one before. Have found round tax tokens, are those common in your area?
Keep up the great digs.
