Check this out! This is the smallest coin I have ever found. Now the thing is, it is no bigger than a tylenol pill. The whole thing, including the frame, is the size of a dime. The frame is gold, I tested it. I was not able to test the coin its self. The coin says, 1860 4 reales. Do you think it REALLY a gold coin? I found this coin on ebay and the seller called it a "pill coin."

I have found another ring for the collection. So close, but yet so far, to reach 100 rings this year. Thanks for looking and happy hunting.

Wow!

Those are both awesome finds. That's the smallest coin I think I've ever seen. Keep at the ring goal, you can do it.

Fantastic digs. On the gold coin, Mexico makes a 2 (1/20 of ounce) and 2 1/2 (15 to 16 mm diameter) gold Peso coins which are the same size as your find. Might want to check further into type of coin.

Yep! It's a gold coin. It is super small. Someone probably had a bracelet/necklace piece. That makes 5 gold coins this year. None of them American........yet! i love this hobby!
