Why are you two replying then?
Is it to virtue signal me?
To teach me a tolerance lesson?
Am I supposed to add a 10 page disclaimer how I have permission from the owner?
That he also apologizes for his privilege of inheriting an old worthless house
Are you maybe worried that Nazis from flat earth antarctic use dowsing to steal unheard
treasures from old poor houses? Are you fighting against that?
You throw up a picture of a house where all the windows and openings
are covered, and then expect members to be able to tell you that they
see treasure hidden inside? And you expect members here to be able
to magically do this....how?
You get a couple replies, and then you come back with a totally smartass response
because you didn't like their replies. The two members who responded have
nearly 18,000 posts on this site, meaning they've helped boatloads of people
with honest, treasure related questions. You may not get any further help from them.
Like Charlie, I can't see through the windows either, but in America there
is no such thing as "worthless" real estate. There's land and a building there,
and it has value.
My suggestions are:
1. Get a sense of humor
2. If it's empty, and the owner trusts you, have him send you the keys so
you can search the house, or at least open up the blinds so you can have
a look at the inside.
3. If you don't own a metal detector, then see of any members are in your
area, and are
willing to detect the yard.
With respect, 99.95% of treasures are found after diligent research and
hard work. Seriously, if someone looked at the image you posted and then
told you there was $100k in sterling hidden in the walls, would you believe
them?
Other information that would be great to include:
When was the house built?
Have you done any research on the previous tenants of the house,
back to when it was first built?
If it has modern plumbing now, did it originally have an outhouse?
If so, where on the property was it located?
Providing you're not rude to them, there are people here that would
help you with learning how to do that research.
Just do the homework and you'll likely have the answers to your questions.
