Old Lead Flag found in Michigan

Old lead type of metal. I can see stars embossed on the top left corner. There seems to a post that used to come down from the base on the left side.

Sorry, not seeing what your seeing. Looks like many of the lead pieces I find, that are either cut, rolled or folded.

Nice piece.

I can visualize the overall shape of the flag but the stars aren't readily seen.
The second image showing the back brings out the "flag" shape best to me.

Any chance you can post a closeup of them?

I can see the flag shape, though the stars aren't too easy. Maybe 1 or 2 spots if I kick up the imagination a tad.
Cool recovery though.
