Took the day off to dirt fish. I went back to the site I hunted last Saturday with my Brother-In-Law. I re -detected the front yard since the leaves, nuts, and twigs were raked to the curb. Started on the side my B-I-L hunted. Pulled both silvers (42 Merc & 42P OD nickle)
, a 1900 IHP,
four wheats (1940 x 2, 41, & 55),
a memorial, the token,
gold ring,
3 buttons, pocket knife, brass drain plug, & the green oval thing in the picture. BOY I'M GLAD HE'S A ROOKIE
Then I went to the part I detected last week and pulled the 1904 V nickle,
1929 Buffalo,
1888 IHP,
1916 wheat,
a lead seal, 3 sinkers, cut bullet, a NY City Button Works military button,
a memorial and the clad quarter was a surface find.
The Spoon handle, pocket watch and threaded silver looking piece came from the side yard.
This has been the best front yard I have ever hunted (virgin grounds).
