Took a Vacation Day today and got Permission to hunt the Old Picnic Grove again..
I have hunted this Grove back in 1987 and 1988 many of times and always had good finds..
This is my 4th time this year and the grove is still producing the finds.
I have never walked out of there without silver or wheaties.
There is 3 1/2 acres to hunt and I don't think I have covered 1/2 of that... so far

Got a FIRST for me ever ... A 1912 V Nickel ( it may have a D but the back is pretty bad )

The Grove also gave me a 1898 I H ,1956 Quarter, 21 Wheaties , Broken Silver Ring, A Token with a 5 on it from
A. Amundsen Billard and Pool, Polish American Foundation 25 cents Token, 1958 Nickel
and $2.51.
Also a lot of junk..........I'm TIRED after 4 1/2 hours...

In all it was a Great Day !!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice finds and nice grove.

I bet there is still more to find with that amount of garbage around.

Congrats on the silver, and (21) wheats, WOW!!!
Very nice haul, that pile has me worn out just looking at it. I haven't hunted over a few hours at a time all summer... Looks like a great site to hunt...
Continued Good luck, & Happy hunting~
