Hello Forum,

I found this old spoon with a Roman Soldier on it. It’s pretty cool, but very mangled. I’ve searched images, but can’t find an exact match. I did find a few companies that used a design like this (Reed & Barton, Strickland, and Curran & Co.). Thanks for looking!

I've never found any silverware worth anything, but I love finding it. For one thing it can help you date a site pretty well, but there's also that connection when you are the first person to pick up something someone lost decades or centuries ago.

Thanks Arrow for the search. The one you found has a point at the top, and mine is more rounded.

I think the pattern name for mine is called "Medallion". I'm not 100 percent sure though. I found 6 older coins in that area ranging from 1904 to 1915.
