Alright you guys are killing me with all these crazy cool sites wow I would give anything to hunt an old train depot in AZ Amazing finds really cool Great post

Nice finds! :icon_thumleft: Those are some great things you found. I like the key, love those old skeleton keys.

Fantastic finds, congrats. I have seen and owned legitimate "stock" Deputy Sheriff badges like this one many times in my collecting career. What does the back look like? Any pin and catch remnants or hallmarks? Cheers, Sub 8-)

Hey sub... So the back had a pin and looked like it snapped off... What do you mean by stock..? Could it be real and not a kids piece? Thanks for the information.

Kred, A "stock" badge is one that bears a generic title, such as only "Police" or "Deputy Sheriff," and were made in large numbers and kept on hand by the badge making companies. They were offered to agencies at very low prices, because they were simple to make and required no special tooling. During the period when these badges were used, (late 1800's-1950's) they were usually offered in catalogs at about the $2.50 to $10.00 range. Would you be able to send a photo of the back of your badge? Thanks, Sub 8-)
