Oldest Coin and Two Firsts for Me!

First 1800s coin. First Indian Head cent. Oldest coin. I am finally starting to make some good finds at the old farm site. I went out last week and found the 1915 D wheatie and tags. The top tag is an elastic (sewing) tag and the bottom tag is from, I think, a money belt from the 1910s-40s. Today I went out and mostly was finding iron at first. I like the wrought iron hook I found. Shortly before I left I found the Indian Head. 1883 and in good condition! The funny thing is it was in a hole I dug last fall. The last signal was the pieces of brass l found. I don't know what they were, maybe a lamp? The site is loaded with iron and nails so pinpointing is difficult. Not bad for me though!

Thanks everyone. The Indian Head came up pretty much as is. Just had to rinse off the dirt. The site is pretty much a mix of dirt and gravel.
