Found this coin about 9 inches deep in soft wet soil. It is also my oldest coin found.

The "W" on the reverse represents the mint at Lille, France.
BARRE (under the profile) represents Albert Désiré Barre (Paris 6 May 1818 – 29 December 1878) was a French engraver, medalist, and the 18th Chief Engraver of the Paris Mint.
The coins greatest value is educational.
