OMG!!! what a PESTLE (new pic next to tape measure
still in my disbelief mode, lol. went hunting today without my trusty partner in crime today Shane, aka flintseeker, and still had a AWESOME day, thanks to the craftmanship of the awesome prehistoric natives. I found numberous arrowheads, scrappers, and granite artifact pieces but all broken axe bits, but stayed at it bearing the 90 degree 8 ft tall tobacco knowing i was in a killer spot. just when i reach what i thought was a bad part of the field as i turned i caught a glimpse of this monster pestle, i went into shock, lol and thought ok im taking this home and putting pics online because i had no service ,lol. well here it is ladies and gents after finding it 4 hours ago. 7 1/2 inches tall and slight knob on top bell pestle with no use made of quartz too. thanks so much for looking, i will post whole hunt tom.
