Thanks for your post bud, hope you're having a great year!
It hurts so bad to see things get paved over, or developed when you know there's more there !! At least you got one last swing in !! Nice ink pot !!
Hi Bart, yeah I've been driving past this site at least once a week to see how they keep moving the soil around. I even have a polished yellow stone on display in our livingroom from this site. I love it, my wife, not so much.

Hope you and your family are all well, Dave
Beautiful old finds on a beautiful old site! thanks for sharing these!
Thanks for your post Scruggs, I appreciate your support!
Hate to see those good sites get developed. You spared a few relics from oblivion. Sweet little ink pot!
Thanks Jeff, this is the third clay ink well I've found here. There was a one-room schoolhouse across the road, I'm thinking the kids occasionally brought one home.
Congrats on the undamaged ink well - nice!
Thanks Cru, I appreciate you posting. This was found in a pile of dirt a bulldozer had pushed from over the foundation. The Arkies dug this site around 4 years ago, so this pot was likely in the soil they had moved to get down to the foundation.
So glad you were able to make some top shelf saves at the end Dave, thanks for posting them!
Thanks buddy, it makes me happy just to know that these relics won't be lost forever under a poured concrete foundation. Hope you're having a great year in Nevada! - Dave
Congrats on the great saves!
Thanks buddy, take care!
Dave, Dave, Dave, you can float that little ink well right across Lake Erie to me. I will take good care of it, I promise! LOL! Great last minute saves! I hate to see you lose that site. Best wishes to you and the family.
Oh WD you make me laugh!

I was overnight in Paris ON a few weeks ago and had some fresh Lake Erie Perch for dinner... yummy! Thanks for your post, say hi to your Dad for me from Canada!
Thanks Randy!
