One man's sewage is another man's treasure. LITERALLY
Came across a article while surfing the web. It had to do with mainly dissolved or small precious metals in sewage treatment plants. Link below then my thoughts on it. I'm no chemistry pro so maybe someone can add to it.
1) Add cyanide aniion.
2) Stir the ****.
3) Filter.
4. Use smashed/chipped up scrap metal to collect precious metals coins etc.
5) Add oxygen by stirring +bleach, and or hydrogen sulfide to nuetralize the cyanide, filter and turn back into irrigation water.
6) turn solids back into fertilizer
