one of my largest rings ever today - the lane

today i only overslept maybe 45mins.

got to the lane about hour before low tide. pretty nice day weather wise.

tickets are still tight to come by.

saw fieldboy steaming north with his son and two others working south of
the pier and no dry sand hunters.

i think i heard on loud speaker, today was kite day at 16th st.

First off, nice pictures like always. Makes me dream of the beach.....

Second off, how could somebody put something like that on their finger? Don't you think they would feel, I'm trying to look for a nice work of how to say it, like a tard ?

Anyway, at least you got out there. Others like me are just dreaming right now. But, I'll be waist deep at the beach on Wednesday. Monday, I'm back in town .

I believe your unidentified find is a 'grinder'. It's used for grinding up marijuana buds into smaller pieces.

Yep, it's a pot grinder! It's old though! I remember (vaguely,LOL), one like it that my cousin used! 1968 would be about right. I was pretty young, and didn't inhale, but I remember how it reeked when he'd grind it up!! That's a funny one!!LOL jimsjinx

Weed grinder. I saw my first one around 10-15 years ago. Everyone used to use their fingers to do the honors. Some still do I'm sure.
