hi all ..last year hunting around an old 1860 battlesite I was lucky enough to find a tunic button with 70 on it. That placed it high on me lists of best ever finds as n.z never had heaps of battles like the states, I also, not far away found a 0..!! one of our sharp eyed members replying to my post and pic suggested there could be a 7 somewhere...
I have been back a few times since and the other day I found it...yeeha...thanks to that members thoughts..and to top it of another 70th tunic button, a couple of cuff buttons.some enfeilds and musket balls and several large coehorn mortar frags..have placed the 7 and 0 together in second pic...a hat badge !!! my first ever..thanks guys for looking and h/h des
