I found these this morning after almost talking myself out of going hunting. The multi color one is one of my best ever it reminds of a fish when sideways. The Blade looks very old. From an Illinois creek.

Incredible!!!! Nicest point i've seen found in a while. Center Piece material!!

Schweet!
That is a beauty ..gut ripper ears on that one.
Nothing for size reference ..what's the length?
It looks like mabey some grinding in the notches.
The point to its left looks like an old style also.. I may think Greenbriar if it were here.

I see an angelfish also. What a beautiful piece. I would call that a work of art.

Sent from my iPad using TreasureNet

That is simply gorgeous !!!!

That point is perfect and made of some super nice stone. Great find:notworthy:

Heat treated too.
How does it look back lit?

The only word that comes to mind is superlative both in material and form but why are some just made to get by and others the best of the best? Is one knapper better than the other or is there some special reason for the creation of a point such as this?

Nice artifact save Cosmo. The rest of of your finds are cool also!

Wonderful color on that one and it looks like no damage on it at all.

That's a BEAUT there Cosmo!!! I'm leanin towards a Snyders or Hopewell. It would look GREAT in any display.. CONGRATS.. HH

That's a super point! Very, very nice! Congratulations on that one.

I agree with fishstick. It looks like a Hopewell type and a possible Snyders or a variant thereof. Definitely a killer piece.

nice,one,thanks for sharing.

...unfortunatley you have peaked and it is now time to retire...that one is a show stopper for sure.
