With 3 hours to hunt we went to some pounded out local hunting spots. The first being a CW site I located a .58 3 ringer and silver engraved unknown heart "thing".

My friend located a .69 3 ringer, feeling confident i had the best find with my silver we decided to change spots, after meeting my wife at the side-by-side she revealed a partial shoulder scale, putting her in the lead for best find.

So we changed locations, 2nd spot produced nothing good, then we headed home, stopping by a pounded out site that has produced 18th and 19th century finds, instantly my buddy finds an 1815 capped bust quarter, putting him in the lead, but not for long.

My wife finds an 1886 indian head then she thinks she found a large cent, which turned out to be a flat button, but no ordinary button a "George Washington Inaugural 15A Federal Eagle With Morning Glory Above New Nation Tribute" button. One heck of a day!

I posted the button as its own post but wanted to show everything together. Thanks for looking and happy hunting.

Very nice finds. Way to go. I wonder if that silver thingy is a bookmark. I've seen one in the past similar to that.

That's a damned nice old quarter, even if some silly clown did carve a letter "W" in it.
