Couple hours this morning...this one was about 10 inches so it's easy to see how the previous hunters missed it!

Very rare that they come out of the ground like this around here too. The ground was dry and it was deep which is why I think the patina and detail survived.

1774...i think that's the most common date for these.

Only 34. Bust changed for 54.

Yep - I can definitely see a "3" as the 3rd number in the date. Nice lookin' copper - WTG!
