Had a good day in the sun today, things are starting to dry up finally! Only the second time I’ve dug a largie , two cent coin and a trime in the same hunt. Also found was two early one piece eagle buttons,1830s?. Both have an I stamped in the shield for infantry. Uncommon finds for Ohio also.
Coins are
1826 large cent
1853 trime
1864 two cent

Surprisingly no, it came out of the hole by itself, the largie was found roughly 10 ft from it .

That is strange, is the site tilled/worked?

Yes it is, plowed corn stubble at the moment, probably did sit on something copper for a good part of its life
