after digging in my back yard for the second time I found a cache of coins a few silver dollars a few half dollars lots of silver dimes and a few old pennies wrapped in a rag about 5 inches down.
I'm so excited now to find more stuff,Ive been practicing all the settings and tones and it paid off. I will take a few pics later and post them I think if I found a ring i would be really excited I'm gone back out today Ive only covered 3 yards in the yard and lots more to go.
i cant believe its only my second time out with a md and all this!!!!

Very nice! I just got my detector and have searched my yard twice and have only found nails...My house was built in 1930 so I was hoping for some decent finds, I don't think I've mastered the art of metal detecting quite yet

Brucebob,Hang in there son,don't expect to hit riches the first time or any time for that matter.Learn what your machine is telling you,it takes MANY hours of hunting under your belt before you are comfortable doing so.Be PATIENT,PERSISTANT,and FINALLY DA PAYOFF!!!!!!!!!1930 you say,man I'd just love to pattern your yard for sure.GOD BLESS,Chris

Im an artist and i have a show coming up july 1st and its very stressful MDing is a great stress releiver!!! I think my next painting will be a treasure ,you are all a great inspiration.

first of all i never said it was huge and i don't really know what i found other than its money oh a dave and busters token so i know its not old. here is a pic of most of my find I took a quick pic to shut some people up! no names mentioned LOL! I really have to get back to work now painting.
i cant wait to go to NC in a few weeks to go hunting for blackbeards treasure!!!! I promise to post pics quicker next time.

i enjoy everyones pics too so i understand,b ut im so busy right now working so dont be so hard on me for not posting pics fast enough.
I will be sure to keep you informed of everything i find in NC we are staying on a farm thats been around since the 1700's so im sure i will find something there and we are going a few miles away to beaufort and the beaches in the area to hunt.
