This is a tough one for me to ID. It's a necklace with a carved amethyst heart pendant. Metal links are very ornate, but they're not silver. They're very thin and lightweight. The necklace rings up at 45 on my AT Pro. Saw a couple of pendants on eBay that are similar and the sellers state that they were antique and Chinese made. Any opinions on the age, metal used and value would be appreciated.

Just an opinion.... Considering the manufacturing technique, I'd bet it is early 20th century. And yes, it appears similar to most SE Asian jewelry of the period.

Nice piece actually.
The problem here is when a seller says it's something it creates an algorithm. The next person does a search and they go off the same information. Ebay is notorious for the descriptions being wrong or embellishing something. Lipstick on a pig

Art Deco era, circa 1920s to 1930s
Chinese exported filigree? :dontknow:

I'm saying what I said, based on the way the connectors are twisted around the wire going through the beads. If you collect costume jewelry like my granddaughter does, you'd recognize the style.

I think it's a very nice piece. Hardly lipstick on a pig...
