We need signatures to stop the state of Oregon from enacting bill 64, that means metal detecting not allowed on private property, relic collecting not allowed anywhere :-[ in Oregon. >:(

This is the kind of LOONEYTUNES legislation that they come up with over there on the "LEFT" coast. No foul meant to any who live over there but I swear, the governments of those states are lost.

Better believe that I signed!!

I signed!

As I stated, This bill will create an instant black market at all levels, from private collectors,

Archies, government officials, and even Natives themselves. It will become a very costly endeavor.

We can only hope common sense prevails!

??? I signed in. Hope this helps. 438 I think has signed in.

Signed.

What the Sam hell is going on in this country anymore.

As current news has it, there are 600,000 undoucumented illegals who might be pardoned and allowed citizens status, and we can't even metal detect?

Sent an e-mail to Whites with the link to the petition.

I live in Tennessee and I cannot vote in Oregon. If you all think it will matter I will add my name to the list. Thank you all, DANGLANGLEY

Signed. Sometimes I have to look up at a flag pole to see if I'm in the right country....

Count me in I signed also.
I would be willing to contribute a few $$ to the cause.

I am happy to report that this is not true. I checked with my state senator's office and was reassured that the bill referenced, which, by the way was a 2005 offering, did not pass and is not under consideration for this year. Oregon is safe for now! Thanks to all for your concern, but you can direct your energy to other states.

Please note : this bill is already dead.If you go to the fmdac website there is info there that this bill died and never made it to a vote.
The post i made is under teverly.

Just so you all know there are similar bills in the legeslatures of several states! N.J. is kicking one around that would basicly put the lid on detctecing relics!

Apparently this is no longer an issue, but think about it: last month's post about a ten dollar gold piece and silver half found inches apart IN OREGON would be the story of a crime!
